But yes, it’s true, I’m planning two more legacies because I wanted to.
ACTUALLY, they are the legacies I was going to do once the Southern Prettacy was killed off my computer, but generation after generation survived and, well you know.
But I might wait out for Pets, or even when my dad comes home, because he wants to get a new computer, and I want to try to convince him to get a good gaming computer (he wants to get an XP. Who the fuck still sells that?!) So don’t go expecting anything anytime soon.
But I’m so excited about another legacy that I just had to say something. So I did.

YAY! 😀 New legacy! … I honestly don’t think you can buy an Xp O.o maybe online… in the stores they only sell Windows 7. Unless I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure.
I’m pretty sure of it too. But dad’s pretty set on an XP for whatever reason. Then again, his last computer was a ’98.
We got a computer with XP last christmas, but we had to buy it off ebay. There’s these really good people on there that sell computers that’ve been used by businesses and stuff that are still really good, and they’re really cheap. Plus they’ll upgrade the size of RAM and a lot of other stuff for a really small extra charge. 🙂
I’ve had my dad once upgrade our old 95 (he had a thing for souping up old computers I think) and that thing flew as fast as any computer at it’s time. Probably why I might have a time trying to convince him to get something that will sit with a sims game <_<

I thought about dropping hints, but I didn’t want to say something, then two months later/if or when I finish this legacy I decide to change my mind and be a liar.
And I HAVE to finish this legacy before jacking up another one. My computer can only handle one at a time as it is 😦

Ah, good ol’ XP. I have both XP and 7 on my computer, because I thought XP would be good for elder games, but it’s become a waste of space recently since I discovered the wonder that is epsxe. Something that didn’t work on it (that should) is Kotor2, I miss it with the MMO coming out. :'[

Maybe your dad’s afraid that he won’t be able to find his way around another OS? Just get him to try out a bunch in the store. Don’t let him know it’s because you want to game… just say “Oh Dad, look, it’s sooooo easy. Much better than XP,” yada yada and some more BS and you got yourself a better computer 😀

I’ve got a LONG way to go before my legacy is finished. Maybe not that long, since lately spouse hunting has been far too easy.
Glad I’m not the only one who sees an XP and thinks it’s making fun of me. I also think of those cars with the DX in their name and think, “that is one angry-assed car” ._.
Yeah, that’s the type of computer I want… even though I would only use it pretty much just for sims

Oh yeah, and SAY NO TO XPs. My old one could barely handle TS2.
When my brother got the sims 3 (he got it first, you wouldn’t think though…) he put it on my hand me down laptop XP and I it was so horrible that I was deterred to put it on my own computer. Good thing I got over that though, huh.

I have an addiction to trying out interesting legacy/challenge ideas. >.> I’ve already planned what’s coming next after my DITFT, but I promised myself I wouldn’t start it until the other is finished! XD Still, I have way too many projects as it is.
